Jeanne brings to RainMaking Oasis an unusually broad perspective to her consulting engagement. For more than 40 years, she has worked with law firms, corporations, individuals and the federal government to support and manage legal talent. Over the course of her career, she has been a leader, coach, facilitator, innovator, manager, trainer, speaker, entrepreneur and owner and draws on all those experiences to support others in navigating transitions, meeting new challenges, expanding their tool kits and horizons, improving their skills, and exploring new possibilities.
At RainMaking Oasis, Jeanne focuses on working with firms and individuals in the areas of career transition programs and coaching, succession/retirement planning and coaching, generational issues, women’s programs and leadership communications coaching. Jeanne’s professional career includes roles as:
- Assistant Director, Office of Attorney Recruitment and Management, United State Department of Justice;
- Founder and principal of White Svikhart & Associates, a consulting firm that focused on attorney recruitment and management;
- First Director of Legal Recruitment in Washington, D.C. for the law firm of Arent Fox; and
- First Director of Career Services, George Washington University Law School.
Jeanne is a featured speaker, panelist and workshop leader for a wide range of audiences and organizations, including non-profits, corporations, bar associations, law firms, law schools, the American Bar Association, the National Association for Law Placement and government agencies. She has published many articles over the years on the growth mindset, interviewing, recruitment, management, and attorney evaluation in a variety of publications. She co-authored a monograph entitled Fair Measure: Toward Effective Attorney Evaluations, published by the American Bar Association Commission on Women in the Profession.
Jeanne graduated from George Washington University as an English major.
